Disposed of legally, and separated where it counts
Green waste goes to licensed facilities for mulching rather than to landfill wherever the load allows it. General and hard waste goes to the appropriate transfer station. It costs a little more than the alternative and it means the body corporate is never the entity named on an illegal dumping fine.
Do you use our complex bins for green waste?

Never. All waste generated by our works leaves the site with us. Filling the complex green bins shifts our disposal cost onto the body corporate and leaves residents without capacity, which is one of the most common complaints about grounds contractors.
Can you clear rubbish that residents have dumped?

Yes. Dumped items in bin stores and common areas can be cleared as part of a recurring program or as a one-off. Hard waste and items needing special handling are quoted separately because the disposal cost is different.
Is waste removal charged separately?

Not for waste we generate. Removal of clippings, prunings and leaf litter from our own works is included in the price of that work. Clearing pre-existing accumulation or dumped rubbish is quoted on its own.
