Is garden maintenance included in a lawn mowing contract?

Not automatically. Mowing and garden bed work are quoted as separate line items so the committee can see what each costs. Most strata clients bundle them into one ongoing maintenance program, which is usually cheaper than running them as separate visits.
Can you take over a garden that has been neglected?

Yes, and it is a large share of the work we pick up. A neglected site gets a one-off restoration visit quoted up front to bring it back to a maintainable state, then moves onto the normal recurring roster at the standard rate.
Do you use chemical weed control around residents?

Only where it is appropriate, and never as the default in high-traffic areas, around play spaces or where pets are present. Hand weeding covers most of the recurring work. Where spot treatment is used, it is applied in line with the label and residents are given notice.
